It has been an interesting journey trying to capture the spiritual experiences of Old Testament figures who mirror God’s engagement with humanity. Our motive for embarking on this journey is simple. We want to learn from these patriarchs and to know more about God through their lens. Today, we have with us, Isaac, the son of Abraham. His story is captivating. Not many people can boast of a father like Abraham, with an enviable title of the “Friend of God”. Isaac is also the only one in recorded history that God instructed his father to offer as sacrifice to Him.
