Eternal life is the focus of our potpourri segment for the month. There is no arguing that the soul of man is an eternal entity. When people leave their bodies at death, their souls transit to other realms. There are only two destinations for departed souls – heaven or the lake of fire also known as hell. The good news is that we have been given the privilege of choosing where our souls will spend eternity. The visa to heaven is Yeshua. He said in John 14:6, “I am the way, and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me”. Some people insist that Yeshua’s claims do not hold water and that they can enter heaven through some other routes. It would be foolhardy to choose to reject the word of the only begotten Son of God in favour of your human reasoning. Do not play Russian roulette with your soul! Surrender your life to Yeshua today and be assured of your salvation before it is too late for you.
