Potpourri – Holiness: Holiness is the sole attribute and nature of God, just as sin is a virus associated with Lucifer or satan. God is not just holy. He is Holy, Holy, Holy. Therefore, no human can become holy by doing things, including good works. God through the Holy Spirit imparts His nature (holiness) to those covered by the blood of His Son Jesus Christ.
When people call others “holy men of God,” even when they are not under the Covenant of grace, they are merely mocking them. We hope that the compilation for the month will help you to understand and appreciate God’s holiness. Do not stop there. Confess Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour to enjoy a special relationship with the Father who alone can impart His nature to you.
