Biblical faith is the focus of the potpourri segment for the month. Hebrews 11:6 says that no one can please God without believing that He exists, and that He rewards those who seek Him diligently. Faith is the currency of God’s Kingdom and it is the antithesis of fear, which rules the kingdom of darkness.
When we say that we have faith in God, we are affirming our confidence in His ability to fulfil His promises to us. Of course, this started in the Garden of Eden when He told satan that the seed of the woman would crush his head. God fulfilled this promise in the birth, death, resurrection and ascension of Jesus Christ who was born by Mary, a virgin. We can also draw from the blessings of hundreds of other promises in both the Old and New Testaments that are part of God’s covenant with us through Noah, Abraham and Jesus Christ. The key is to have a relationship with Him that makes us joint heirs with Christ. Enjoy the compilation.
